So today while doing my random music search, I came across this page:
Bibabidi.Com-Juiced Elfers
Well the first two lines caught my attentions. "Holy Moley! How did this one pass under my radar!? Apparently Nick "Diamonds" Thorburn and Jamie "J'aime Tambour" Thompson (uh ... Islands ... uh ... the Unicorns) have re-united to form Juiced Elfers. Weird name, yes, but killer tunes."

So now I am on the Hunt to find out more about the Juiced Elfers. My girl introduced me to the Unicorns after they had already broken up and their music is so awesome!

Albums:
The Unicorns:Who will cut our hair when we're gone? (2003)

Album Review: "Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone?” features thirteen tracks deeply rooted in careful songwriting and lo-fi pop experimentalism that scream “FRESH”, “INCOMPARABLE”, “AHEAD OF ITS TIME”, “HAUNTING” “CHARMING” “SEXY”, “FUNNY” and “FUCKING BRILLIANT”

The Unicorns: 2014 (2004)

4 tracks only

The Unicorns: Unicorns are People too

The Islands: REturn to the Sea (2006)

Album Review:
"Hailing from Montreal, Islands is a 7 piece band founded by former Unicorns front man Nick Diamonds and drummer J'Aime Tambeur. Following the untimely disbandment of The Unicorns as they teetered on the brink of breaking through, Islands' debut release entitled Return to the Sea, with its quirky sounds and refreshing, catchy melodies includes collaborations with members of Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade and is arguably Diamonds' and Tambeur's most impressive work to date. This highly anticipated debut picks up where The Unicorns left off and takes the music to new heights without departing from The Unicorns' unique if sometimes peculiar appeal. Return to the Sea is destined to become one of the most acclaimed and favorite albums of 2006"

So according to the The Brooklyn Vegan ""Nicholas Thorburn (born November 27, 1981) is a Canadian musician who has fronted The Unicorns, Th' Corn Gangg, and Islands. His stage name was Nick Diamonds, but he recently reverted to his birth name."

His newest project is called Juiced Elfers, and the only other thing I can tell you about it is that they're playing Mercury Lounge in NYC on Thursday August 23rd @ 7pm - right before a Metric-side project (no advanced tix). I can also tell you that his other band Islands have new recordS in the works, and are confirmed to play CMJ."
